Pilot

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively function as Pilot.
  • Ensure that all flight operations activities are in full compliance with FAR Part 135 and other FAA regulations.
  • Ensure that all flight operations activities are performed in accordance with Company manuals, directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure personal compliance with company safety programs.
  • Ensure that all flight operations activities are performed to the highest quality standards, including safe execution of in-flight duties, getting flight ready with dispatch, cleaning of the aircraft, stocking the aircraft, loading, and unloading of bags and equipment.
  • Maintains reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Adheres to all Company policies and standards of conduct.
  • Other related work, responsibilities, and duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (KSA's):
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, and/or Multi-Engine Rating.
  • FAA minimums for position.
  • Ability to maintain currency in the assigned aircraft per FAR Part 135.
  • FAA flight physical.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Positive support toward our client and the company.
  • Valid U.S./state issued driver's license.
  • Successful results from a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1000 hours total flight time.


Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office environment, outdoors and in an aircraft. Will be exposed to inclement weather.
  • Intermittent physical activity including standing, bending, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds unassisted, vertically through 4 feet and maneuver that load at arm's length.

A&P Aircraft Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine maintenance and inspections on corporate and general aviation aircrafts.
  • Inspects, tests, repairs, maintains, and services aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.
  • Performs varying amounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic system work.
  • Inspects aircraft or systems and general mechanical application.
  • Keeps a clean and organized work area including personal toolbox.
  • Participates in an on-call work schedule.
  • Other related work, responsibilities, and duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (KSA's):
  • Airframe & Powerplant Certification required.
  • A thorough understanding of the code of federal regulations for aviation.
  • Ability to follow all FAA and OEM specifications and ensure work complies with repair station manual and safety policies.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance, and demeanor.
  • Ability to climb on and around aircraft and perform required lifting, bending and manipulation of mechanisms as required to inspect and repair aircraft.
  • Ability to lift parts and components weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 400 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces.
  • Ability to visually inspect equipment and identify defects; to hear well enough to test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft.
  • Ability to work weekends; ability to work safely.
  • Ability to pass a security background check and pre-employment drug screen.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three plus years' experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing both routine and complex maintenance on a variety of airframe types in a part 135 repair station setting.
  • Experience or training with piston engine (General Aviation) aircrafts is highly desired.


Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in aircraft hangers, outdoors, and in tight aircraft spaces, and while regularly exposed to outdoor weather and moderate noise levels.
  • Physical strength and agility are required to lift heavy parts and equipment and to access all portions of the planes for inspection and repair purposes.
  • Inspection and repair of aircraft requires good visual acuity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Intermittent physical activity including standing, bending, reaching, and sitting.
  • Exposure to fumes from equipment operation
  • Exposure to dust, dirt, oil/grease, fumes, and gases

Line Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fuels, tows, wing walks, and provides general ground support for various aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
  • Marshals and greets aircraft in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Follows and promotes current safety regulations and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Performs daily QC on refuelers and tank farms
  • Performs periodic checks of all equipment and facilities and documents findings.
  • Performs all work in accordance with SOP's, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and organized ramp, free of debris and clutter.
  • Maintains clean and organized facilities and hangars, free of debris and clutter.
  • Communicates customer feedback with the appropriate Jackson Jet personnel.
  • Immediately reports safety incidents or hazards to appropriate management.
  • Initiates emergency and incident responses procedures as required.
  • Provides top-notch customer service and professionalism.
  • Other related work, responsibilities, and duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (KSA's):
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Excellent customer service and relation skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to write legibly.
  • Possess and maintain valid state driver's license.


Working Conditions:
  • Ability to perform line service operations outside and in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Excellent vision and coordination to move or direct fuel trucks.
  • Physically able to perform frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing actions.
  • Physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends.
